About this treatment
BIAB — Builder In A Bottle™ — offers a strong, durable and flexible finish. These soak-off gel builders are ideal for sculpting and tip extensions, and can also be used on their own over the natural nail bed to support growth and add strength for clients with particularly brittle nails. BIAB gives a long-lasting, professional finish.
KD Nails offers BIAB on natural nails, BIAB extensions and BIAB infills. Natural base colours are included; gel polish colours are charged as an extra.

In the appointment
- 01Existing product is removed if needed and the natural nail is prepped.
- 02Builder gel is applied and shaped over the natural nail, or sculpted into an extension.
- 03Each layer is cured under lamp.
- 04The apex is filed and refined so the nail is balanced and strong.
- 05A natural base colour is applied. Gel polish colours are an extra charge.
Before your appointment
- Arrive with clean hands and no hand cream or oil on the nail plate.
- If you are wearing enhancements from another salon, tell us when you book — removal is charged separately and takes extra time.
- Please arrive on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late your appointment may be given to another client.
- Bring cash. The salon does not take card payments.
Aftercare
- When picking anything up, try not to use the tips of your nails — stress and strain lead to breakages.
- Always use cuticle oil to keep cuticles healthy and nourished.
- Always wear protective gloves when gardening or doing DIY jobs.
- Dry your nails individually.
- Never immerse your nail enhancements in any solution you would not put on your face.
- Some suntan lotions can dissolve and discolour nail enhancements.

No. BIAB is a soak-off builder gel. It is flexible, applied from a bottle rather than sculpted from liquid and powder, and it can be worn over the natural nail without adding length.

A natural base colour is included. Gel polish colours are charged as an extra on top of the BIAB price.

Enhancements and gel polish manicures are guaranteed for three days after your appointment. If you lose an enhancement or notice chipping or lifting within three days, call us and we will book a free repair. Repairs after three days are charged.

Yes, if you are wearing an existing enhancement. Soak-off is charged separately — from £12 for acrylic, £10 for BIAB builder gel and £8 for gel polish.
